Smart Reporting Helps Spread Smart Solution for Colorado River Basin

The release of our new report Mapping the River Ahead last week resulted in a lot of great coverage, but our favorite so far (and not just because I’m quoted!) was a story written by Amy Joi O’Donohue at the Deseret News. As with all her stories on water in the West, she does a terrific job on unpacking for her readers the at times mind boggling complexity of these issues. With her story on the report, we are especially impressed with the way she tracked key themes that so many Basin leaders continue to articulate. With reporting like this, we might just have a chance for an engaged, motivated public who can help press for the smart solutions we need to start ramping up today.
