Kristiana Teige Witherill
Kristiana Teige Witherill assists with program development for Carpe Diem West. Drawing on her work experience at a water utility and her Master’s of Environmental Science with a Water Resources Management focus from the Bren School at UC Santa Barbara. She is well versed in the production and presentation of complex information designed for multiple stakeholders, each with their own needs. While at UC Santa Barbara, she completed a group thesis project exploring watershed management strategies to reduce mercury pollution in a tributary of the Sacramento River; she worked closely with BLM officials throughout the life of the project. Kristiana has also created original GIS maps to aid water management decision-making, and dedicates her career to improving water management through the use of smart, sustainable management strategies.
