Dale Lyons has over twenty years of experience in the areas of water resource planning & management, watershed restoration, and water user supported water source protection programs. As a senior planning consultant with Souder, Miller and Associates in Santa Fe, NM, Dale supports communities and tribes across the Southwest in the areas of: 1) infrastructure and capital improvement planning; 2) energy efficiency and renewable energy development; 3) sustainability planning; 4) watershed planning; and 5) securing state and federal funding. Dale is a former water resource manager for the City of Santa Fe’s water utility, where he managed the City’s Watershed Investment Program. Dale has been a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters since 2001. In 1998 Dale earned a Master of Science degree in Disturbed Land Rehabilitation/Mining Reclamation and in 1994 he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Soils and Environmental Science, both from Montana State University.
