Scott spent 23 years as a television journalist, including 15 years covering the environment for KING 5 TV, the NBC affiliate in Seattle. In addition to winning three Emmy awards, Miller’s work was recognized by the Associated Press, the Society of Professional Journalists and the Society of Environmental Journalists. From 2002-2009 Scott served as CEO of Resource Media, leading the organization through a rapid time of growth and expansion. In 2009, Scott became a Senior Program Officer at The Russell Family Foundation, overseeing environmental grant making. Scott returned to lead Resource Media in August of 2012. He graduated from the University of Oregon in 1979 with a degree in journalism.
