A lifelong activist with more than three decades of accomplishment and leadership as an organizer, policy advocate and coalition builder on behalf of environmental issues –especially water quality and public health as well as labor issues — organizing labors capital to invest in main street not wall street.

Serving the third year of my first term representing Ward 3 of the East Bay Municipal Utility District. Water Agencies are ground zero for the impacts of climate change and I believe EBMUD can and should be a national leader in demonstrating climate smart actions as well as advocating for climate policy solutions.
