2017 Annual Healthy Headwaters Innovation Award

Mayor Steve Hogan, City of Aurora (R) and Marshall Brown of Aurora Water (L) accept the award for Outstanding Innovation in Watershed Investment and Source Water Protection.

Last Friday we held our 12th Healthy Headwaters Leadership Convening in Aurora, Colorado. Each of our convenings is an opportunity to highlight some of the great watershed investment work going on around the American West.

This year we awarded the annual Healthy Headwaters Innovation Award Mike McHugh, Environmental Permitting Coordinator and Aurora Water for outstanding leadership and innovation in watershed investment and source water protection.

Congratulations again to Mike and Aurora Water for their well-deserved recognition.
